A homebuyer may require a more detailed survey when buying a property, particularly as more and more lenders are releasing monies to customers by having an automated report completed rather than a physical inspection.  With this is mind, it is helpful to the Surveyors if the home is prepared in readiness.

This means ensuring the house is clean and tidy when the Surveyor arrives, including decluttering areas so the surveyor can access all essential areas, including the loft.

Also, if the property has had any alterations, it is helpful if the necessary documents such as planning permission notices are available as this demonstrates the property has been well looked after.
